The first two weeks after childbirth is the most critical for new mother’s recovery. They often face lots of challenges such as blood lost, stitches, wound healing, swelling in the feet, constipation, inadequate breast milk or engorgement. The body takes 30-45 days to fully recover from childbirth.
Our recommendation for postpartum meals is 30 days (15 days minimum and 45 days for C-section recovery). Your menu will be designed by a registered practical nurse, TCM practitioner based on your constitution and postpartum recovery. Daily menu is different but each week with a major focus; natural birth and C-section menus are designed separately.
台式月子餐全程用月子米酒水、胡麻油制作,注重滋养进补、调理体质、瘦身减脂。因饮食要求严格,餐单重复性较高,内脏菜式较多。一个月30天基本不重复。月子餐结合了中国传统月子餐文化及现代营养学,科学合理、品种丰富、低油少盐无味精。
Taiwanese menu is designed based on Taiwan‘s postpartum diet traditions. All food are cooked with low percentage alcohol (0.35%) cooking wine and sesame seed oil. Focus on nutrient the body, tailer the body constitution, and get back in shape faster. Menus are limited compare to Cantonese menu with quite some organ meat dishes.
The meal plan is healthy, low salt, low fat, and no MSG.
