The first two weeks after childbirth is the most critical for new mother’s recovery. They often face lots of challenges such as blood lost, stitches, wound healing, swelling in the feet, constipation, inadequate breast milk or engorgement. The body takes 30-45 days to fully recover from childbirth.
Our recommendation for postpartum meals will be 30 days (15 days minimum and 45 days for C-section recovery). Your menu will be designed by a registered practical nurse, TCM practitioner based on your constitution and postpartum recovery. Cantonese menu is designed based on Guangdong district‘s postpartum diet traditions; but combine with modern nutrition concepts. The goal is to help with wound healing, qi & blood lost, remove swelling in the body, prevent constipation, support lactating to achieve overall optimal health.
The meal plan is healthy, low salt, low fat, no MSG with a wide selection of elegant and delicious food.
